New York City Wedding Photographer | Mamaroneck Beach and Yatch Club Wedding

This past Saturday the rain came to an end (finally-after what seems like an entire month!) and we were able to shoot a beautiful, sunny wedding. The ceremony took place at St. John The Evangelist Parish, Stamford, CT- the reception was held at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. We had so much fun with these guys, and their family and friends. Here are a couple of pictures to hold you over until their slide-show is up on my website!

New Jersey Wedding Photographer | Florham Park Wedding

On Saturday we shot a beautiful spring-time wedding at The Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ. The ceremony and reception both took place at the venue-and we did some really fun portraits at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The weather held out just long enough for us to get some killer bridal party pictures on the grounds-yay! The decor was beautiful and we had a blast documenting the day for these two special poeple. Here are some shots to hold you over until their slideshow is up on my website... vs11

Kerry and Justin Elope!

This passed Saturday we had the opportunity to shoot an elopement ceremony (I think I made that word up) for my cousin and her boyfriend/now husband! It took place at a cool hotel in the Village called The Bowery. The decor was amazing, the attire was amazing...basically there was eye-candy everywhere we turned. I could go on and on-but instead I'll just post some pictures.... kerryjustin

November Wedding

marydan5 On Saturday we shot our last wedding for 2008. It took place in Fairfield, Connecticut at the country club in town. The day offered up a classic November scene-white skies and vibrant red and gold leaves on the ground. Its one of my favorite sights to look at, reminding me of indoor coziness and of course, the holidays. The wedding had a warm and intimate feel to it, filled with laughter and love. It was a great way to finish off our 2008 wedding season!

Simsbury CT Wedding

We just got home from shooting a wedding in Connecticut. The ceremony was at a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in Hartford, and the reception was held at the Riverview in Simsbury. We met our bride and groom back in June for an engagement session in Central Park (check out the archives) and were looking forward to the actual day. We had a great time despite the gloomy weather. Here are some shots from the day... angie2

Molly Pitcher Inn Wedding

This past Friday we shot a wedding at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ. It is an elegant Inn situated right on the water with beautiful views at sunset. The overall vibe of the wedding was relaxed and intimate with classic and elegant details. Plumb accents added a rich autumn look to the day. I was in love with the bridesmaid dresses, especially the detail at the neckline. Very vintage and very fun. Here are some shots from the wedding, more to follow shortly on my website. karine1

Stephen's State Park Engagement Shoot

kassandra2 Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Kassandra and Scott who are planning on getting married next year. They love being outside, doing outdoor activities so we decided to do a shoot in nature. The idea was to capture them naturally in the environment and really show just how happy these guys are to have found each other. They did a great job, and I'm really impressed with Kassandra's high heel skills walking on all that rocky ground!

Wedding in Plymouth, MA

This weekend we shot an outdoor wedding in Plymouth, MA. The entire event took place at the White Cliffs Country Club, which overlooks the ocean. It was a gorgeous site to shoot at, and the weather was picture perfect-no humidity, blue skies. This vintage-Old Hollywood Glam inspired wedding really was an affair we'll remember! willard3

Rocky Neck Wedding

We just got home from shooting an outdoor wedding at the Pavilion at Rocky Neck State Park this past Friday. Molly and Mike planned this relaxed beach affair (complete with lobster rolls and mini pigs in a blanket) beautifully. The Pavilion is such a great spot for a wedding, between the beach, the views and the actual building-its a wedding photographers dream. Here a few shots that stood out to me as I just downloaded everything. More to follow on my website soon! molly1

Colette and Mark's Wedding

Yesterday we shot the wedding of Mark and Colette in Morristown, NJ. The reception was at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The weather was gorgeous as were all of the details of the day. I've just finished downloading all of the images and had to put a couple up asap since I love so many of them. Here are a few that stuck out to me--Mark and Colette look absolutely beautiful in all of the pictures, I'm such a lucky photographer! desantis2

G Fox Wedding

Greetings.br /So we shot a wedding last night in Hartford, CT for our friends Sara and Tim. It was at the G. Fox building in Hartford (great place--art deco, old Hollywood glam style). I'd been there before and after seeing the upstairs bar area, had decided I wanted to take advantage of the red velvet couches and luxurious surroundings. But this time I was prepared with a little additional strobe. I've been wanting to do a Marilyn Monroe-esque type o' picture of a bride sitting on a fun couch (they had lots of them) with the shoes peeping out underneath a big puffy dress. Well, wouldn't ya know it, we made it happen! Hope you love it as much as I do, Sara. Check back to my website next week and I should have a slideshow of the affair up. sarah

Wake Robin Inn Wedding

We shot a wedding in Lakeville, Connecticut last weekend. It's a peaceful little town surrounded by farms, fields, rivers and lakes. Our couple, Dava and Damian who are from New York were so inspired by a Maine wedding they had attended in the past, that they decided to throw a "destination" wedding...sort of like a weekend getaway where they could celebrate with their closest friends and family. The event took place at the Wake Robin Inn, a majestic site for an outdoor wedding. Everything was spectacular, including the vegetable ravioli! 03

Jackson Hole Wedding

jackson-1 A special "thank you" to Anne and Joe for flying us out to Jackson, WY fort their wedding. Currently living in Boston, the couple chose a destination wedding that was close to Anne's hometown of Idaho Falls. The ceremony took place in a small chapel in downtown Jackson with the reception at the Four Seasons Hotel, just at the base of the mountain. The rain held up until it was time to head over to the reception site, (which was picture time too)...but Anne and Joe decided, rain or shine we were taking outdoor pictures to capture the beauty all around us. I think our positive vibes payed off because just as we got to the "picture destination" it stopped raining! It was a quite, calming experience...just Anne and Joe, us, and Anne's parents. I don't think it could have been more perfect.

Shots from Wyoming

Wyoming was wet and cold, a very different look compared to the last time I was there. I must say, Teton National Park looks really cool when its rainy and cloudy. The only issue is that I have a major cold now. It could be from sitting in an airport with germs floating around, or maybe its because I was playing in the rain for 3 days straight. Hmm. img_8840-1

Idaho Falls. This is where we landed, and where Anne (the bride) is from. It snowed as we drove over the pass from Idaho Falls to Jackson Hole. I was freaking out as we drove our small rental car up the hill and back down (which was the scariest)...the first day we couldn't even see the mountains because the clouds were so thick. We were going to go to Yellowstone on Wednesday, but the park entrance was closed due to the snow. So we just hung out in Jackson and had some beers at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.

Teton National Park. Winter snow melting and causing rushing waters.

Thursday we scouted out the wedding sites and took pictures around Teton Village and in the park. We also hiked part of Jenny Lake (in the rain). It was beautiful. We were the only people on the hike. I was scared. Again. Thinking a hungry bear might be lurking around the next corner. I would. Friday, before it was time to shoot the wedding, we took one last jaunt into Teton National Park. It was sunny in the morning so we were able to see the entire mountain range, and also set up the tripod for a picture of the 2 of us. Fun, fun.

Kenny and Shannon's Wedding

Today we had the pleasure to attend a wedding as opposed to shoot a wedding. It was for one of my best friends from high school-Kenny and his new wife Shannon. We had a great time being guests and enjoying the celebration. Congratulations! kenny
