This past Friday I met up with Shane and her parents for her half year shoot at the park. So much has changed since her newborn shoot, so it was great to see how she's grown. Talk about a personality! We had a great time, enjoy her different looks :)
Last night I headed to Central Park to meet up with Jordan and his family for his one year portraits. The session started out sunny and beautiful and as we meandered through the park...the weather took a crazy turn. A heavy downpour popped up out of nowhere, and we had to take cover under a tree. Talk about a memorable experience! As the rain subsided a beautiful rainbow appeared and the sun cast a gorgeous golden light on us. We didn't let the rain slow us down, and we continued our shoot. This was definitely a first for me-but I'm so happy we experienced it. It makes the pictures that much more fun!
Here is my final shoot from last week's East Hampton excursion. The moment the session began the fog rolled in...creating a blanket of softness. We worked through the weather, despite the fact that by the end of the hour...it was hard to see 8 feet in front of you, and we had wet hair. Regardless of mother nature...artistic beauty prevailed!
On Thursday morning I met up with Anna and her mom at their beach house in Amagansett. The last time I saw Anna was 1 year ago, for her newborn shoot. What a difference a year makes...now she's all smiles (with teeth!), waving and clapping- and beginning to walk. We had a beautiful, sunny morning-allowing us to splash in the water and play in the sand. Enjoy the fun...
My second shoot this week was with the family that actually convinced me to head out to East Hampton in the first place. They go every summer, so its a place close to their hearts...holding so many memories for them. We met up at sunset, the fog started to return-but it only created a nice soft feel to the beachy pictures. Love how everything turned out, woo hoo!
Saturday afternoon I headed to Rockefeller State Park for a shoot with Jagger and his parents. The day was picture perfect and our surroundings were lush and green...the perfect combo for great pictures. Here is a little sneak peak in to our time together....
Yesterday afternoon I met up with Siena and her parents for her one year shoot. It was so good to see her again, she's changed a lot since her newborn shoot! We were able to get lots of different looks inside and then we headed out to Battery City Park for some outdoor shots. I'm super excited with all of our results!
Yesterday afternoon I did a super fun photo shoot with Giuliana, Isabella & Daniel. The moment I walked in to their house and saw their fabulous outfits I was instantly excited and inspired. We opted to keep the black and white theme going and chose the damask background. I'm pretty sure everyone had a blast modeling it up for the camera....here's a little preview:
The other day I headed to Hoboken for a maternity shoot. The shoot was scheduled at 8AM, just as the sun was beginning to peak through the Manhattan skyline-it really was beautiful. I was so excited when I saw Jill and Rob walk over to me, they looked like they had just stepped out of a j crew catalog and their colors worked perfectly with our autumn surroundings. This past Saturday I had the opportunity to photograph Juliana and her beautiful family. After seeing a photo of Juliana and her features, I was inspired to do something goddess-like. We went for a bunch of different looks, natural bedroom shots, urban landscape portraits, and garden-park stuff. Fortunately we had the magnificent makeup artistry of Kerry Crawford who completed the picture perfect vision. Here's a teaser of our time together....
