Today I headed to Chester to shoot these cuties. We did an array of things, finishing the shoot off with a small petting zoo in the yard! It was way too much fun to handle-enjoy looking at some shots:

Last Saturday I met an old friend at my mother-in-law's home in Connecticut for a photo shoot. They were coming all the way from New Hampshire-so it was a good middle point for us (plus I love the house and yard for shooting). Anyway, we had a ton of fun catching up and snapping great shots of the kids and family. Here are some faves:
This weekend was the garden portrait day in Connecticut. It took place in my mother-in-laws backyard, which is chock full of fun backdrops for photo shoots. Luckily the weather held out allowing us to take full advantage of the outdoors. Here are some images from the day...
I visited with my friends this past Sunday and couldn't resist doing a small photo shoot with their little 10 month old girl, Talia. After ransacking her closet, this is the outfit we decided on. I love the simplicity of it, it looks like she just got in from a day of skiing or better yet, with this environment, fall farming!
This past Friday I did a shoot at my in-laws house in Oxford, CT. Their yard is an awesome backdrop for pictures...it is a 300 year old farmhouse with tons of character. Lots of fun gardens, a chicken coup, old honeycomb drawers, and across the street is the Housatonic River. The shoot was a complete success, I was so happy with all of the outfit choices Julianna's mom brought with her--we had tons of versatility and the colors just popped in the environment.
